Red Cross
We’re proud to support the tireless efforts of the Red Cross (Reg charity no. 220949 and SCO37738). Since 1870 they have saved those most in need during the biggest of disasters. They make a real difference. Notable Red Cross appeals include the support of the Tsunami that claimed around 250,000 lives in 2004 and currently the Syria appeal. Just 1 t-shirt provides water purification tablets for up to 8 people.
Homelessness
Imagine the end of homelessness. In Jan 2013 Scotland passed a law which aims to effectively end homelessness. The law entitles everyone who finds themselves homeless, by no fault of their own, access to settled accommodation. Just 4 t-shirts provides accommodation, counselling and a warm welcome from Crisis.
Children
Each day children die unnecessarily from preventable diseases. We can help stop this with just a small donation. Provided by the comic relief they can vaccinate a child against 5 different diseases and giving them the best change in life. Just 2 t-shirts provides a 5-in-1 vaccination to a child in Africa.
Breast Cancer
In the UK alone 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer. This cause really matters to us here and we wanted to produce a range that supported this. All our pink t-shirts support the Tickled Pink campaign; spread across numerous charities the campaign has raised over £38 million in 17 years and made a lasting change. Just 5 t-shirts provide a support pack for a newly diagnosed patient and just 10 t-shirts allows growth of breast cancer cells to research a cure.
Water
Did you know that the diseases caused by dirty water and poor sanitation kill more children every year than AIDS, malaria and measles combined? WaterAid work to provide lasting infrastructure to give access to clean water and safe sanitisation and transform millions of lives Just 1 t-shirt can stop a child dying from drinking dirty water.
